El Burno is a character we created to honor our late father, a devoted outdoorsman and nature enthusiast who inspired us to become National Park Rangers (and he loved MOOSE!). He was the kind of person who could build a fire in a snowstorm, make a shelter out of nothing to keep you safe in a blizzard, identify every bird call on the trail, and somehow turn every hike into a lesson in wonder. He passed on to us his deep love for the natural world, for stewardship, and for service. Now, through El Burno, we're passing that love on to you.

 

We are a National Park Service family - rangers, educators, conservationists, and lifelong trail wanderers who believe in protecting the parks, supporting the people who care for them, and inspiring a new generation to get outside and explore. From long days on the trail to nights around the campfire, we've lived and breathed the park life. Our mission is to share that spirit with the world through thoughtfully designed, nature-inspired apparel and gifts that celebrate the beauty, history, and adventure of America's public lands. Every design in our shop is made with that purpose in mind. From National Park–themed T-shirts, hoodies, hats, and posters to the values we live by, everything at El Burno is built around the idea that nature is for everyone and worth protecting.

 

And we don't stop at inspiration.

 

We believe in supporting the unsung heroes who serve our public lands and their families. While El Burno is not affiliated with any government agency or nonprofit organization, our founders personally contribute to families within the park community in times of need, offering emergency support, family assistance, and encouragement to those who care for our parks day in and day out. We’re also proud members of several National Park conservancies, foundations, and friends groups across the country, and we actively support their efforts to preserve, protect, and enhance the places we love. As we grow, we’re committed to building transparent, values-driven partnerships that allow us to give back more broadly to the communities that inspire our work.
